PREEM ADVANTAGE 101 - QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
What is the capacity of the Preem Advantage 101?
The Preem Advantage 101 is capable of producing up to and has produced 75 yd3 (57 m3) of concrete per hour. However, it should be noted that production must be
curtailed when the cement silo is being filled. An auxiliary silo may be
added for continuous duty.
How are concrete mix materials weighed?
Our design delivers your concrete batch mix materials directly to the
concrete mixer truck using a decumulative method of weighing, or a
combination accumulating and decumulating method. Preset water delivery is
accomplished via a 2" (5 cm) badger Turbo Meter and Controller.
What is Delivery time?
Unless we have your unit in stock, one should allow approx. four weeks from
the date of your order for completion at the factory.
Can you assist in Delivery?
Highway transportation is easily available and with overall dimensions of
50' L x 8.5' W x 13.5' H (15.2 x 2.6 x 4.1 m) as well as a complete highway running package and
a GVW of 23,000 lb. (10,430 kg) transportation should pose no problem. Overall length
can be reduced to 40' (12.2 m) with a minimum effort. In addition to highway
transportation, the Preem Advantage line of concrete plants have been designed to
conform to the railway Intermodal transportation system. Our experience
has shown that delivery schedules have proven very accurate and charges as
little as 1/3 of the cost of trucking.
Are there duty costs to enter a concrete plant into the USA?
No, nor do any Canadian taxes apply to export this type of concrete
equipment. This machinery falls under NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) guidelines between Canada,
the USA and Mexico, and as such is duty-free.
Can this plant supply more than two aggregate mix designs?
Yes. By automatic conversion, the Preem Advantage can revert to an
accumulating mode providing any imaginable aggregate mix using the
dribble procedure.
Where are your machines currently in production?
Our concrete batch plants have proven to be a valuable asset to a wide variety of
companies since 1993. Customers in Canada, the United States and South
America have been able to employ this method of production to their
advantage and profit. We look forward to discussing the many different
configurations and options available and how they may best be able to
assist you in your operations.
